Educational, not clinical

MatchScript exists to help you research GLP-1 telehealth before you talk to a prescriber. Everything we publish — the quiz, the Match Score, provider write-ups, explainers and comparisons — is general educational information. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and reading it does not create a clinician–patient relationship between you and MatchScript. We are a publisher, not a medical practice, pharmacy or telehealth company, and no one on our team is acting as your doctor.

Talk to a licensed clinician

A qualified, licensed healthcare professional who knows your history is the only person who can decide whether a GLP-1 medication is right for you. Speak with one before you start, stop, combine or change any treatment, and bring your own questions with you. Nothing you read here should delay or replace that conversation, and you should never disregard professional guidance because of something you saw on this site. Weight and metabolic outcomes depend on your biology, dosing, adherence and clinical supervision, so individual results vary widely and past results are no promise of your own.

In an emergency

MatchScript cannot help with a medical emergency. If you think you may be having one, or you have a serious reaction to a medication, call 911 or your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department right away. Do not wait on anything you read here.

About compounded GLP-1s

Some providers we describe prescribe compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. Compounded medications are prepared by pharmacies and are not FDA-approved finished drug products; they are not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality the way the branded products are, and they can differ from Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound and Mounjaro in formulation, concentration and how they are dosed. Whether a compounded option is appropriate — or appropriate for you at all — is a judgment that belongs to a licensed prescriber who has evaluated you, not to MatchScript.

How to read the Match Score

Your quiz result and a provider's Match Score are editorial guidance meant to give you a place to start, not a medical recommendation and not an instruction to choose one provider over another. Details about third-party providers reflect what they disclose publicly and are shared for information only; listing a provider is never an endorsement of that provider or of any medication, and it says nothing about whether treatment is safe or suitable for you. We work to keep everything accurate and current, but pricing, availability, clinical policies and regulatory status change constantly, so we cannot guarantee that any of it is complete or free of error — confirm the current facts on the provider's own site and with a clinician before you act.
